A few months ago my roommate and I hiked Big Bend National Park. I can now confidently say that it is one of the most beautiful places on earth. I thought I would share several panoramic photos from our time there.

beautiful pictures! I’d certainly like to be there right now, rather at my desk surrounded by cold cinderblock walls. :)
Have you worked at all with auto-stitching tools that compensate for the exposure differences in panoramic shots like these? When not stitched manually (like it looks like you did), you can hardly tell the final product was from multiple shots. Presuming you’re still using a Mac, try HuginOSX. There’s free tools for Linux and Windows as well.
If roomie’s digital camera has manual settings, it also helps a LOT to use same for all shots, instead of camera’s auto mode. Don’t know if that was a possibility or not.
Nice photo, found this while Googling for large images for wallpaper.
I had to check my own shots, at first glance I thought your South Rim shot was mine:

We must have been there around the same time, even the bushes and branches look the same!
